Sara Evans

Sarah Sarah Sara SaraThrough her entire life, Sara Evans only held but one dream: to be a country singer and composer. Evans told John Meroney, of American Enterprise: "God placed me here in order to be a singer." "It's my passion to do the most that I've ever done, and I'm going succeed in it." Evans wanted to achieve success by revisiting the old country songs made famous by Patsy Cline. Hank Snow. Tammy Wynette. George Jones. Also Patty Loveless. These musicians Evans considered to be her greatest source of inspiration. Evans born in 1970, was able to make her mark in the late 90s, the time when many of the country music's aspiring performers turned to contemporary pop tunes. This is exemplified through her 1997 debut album, True Lies. True Lies was not a huge success, even though it was well received by critics and being awarded an Academy of Country Music nomination for the best female vocalist. Evans released her next album in 1999, No Place That Far resulted from her bowing before producers, who persuaded that she needed to expand her selection of songs. It was the moment she finally earned the recognition that she has had her heart set on from the time she was young. Sara Evans was a born in Columbia Missouri on February 5 7th, 1971. The first years she spent there alongside her six siblings and five brothers.
